Renovation Options Module
This module calculates the energy index of your school building and estimates its performance compared to the national benchmark.
National data in this form have been validated by ENEA.
This module calculates the potential energy savings of your building and helps in selection the most promising renovation action.
Note: to have the fields automatically filled you have to use the Energy Profile Module first.
Note: fields marked with an * are required.
Note: savings can be greater than consumption because the following calculation is of a theoretical nature and follows the rules of technical physics, therefore, it assumes that the heating system is used in optimal conditions maintaining comfort temperatures inside the classrooms for the heating system operating period allowed by national law.
SCHOOL DETAILS
CONSUMPTION (OVER THREE YEARS)
HEATING
Note: the Average is calculated over 3 years. If only one year's value is known, replicate it in the other years fields.
Note: for fuel definitions click on ⓘ icon near the name of the fuel.
ELECTRICITY
Note: consumptions don't include heating.
Note: the Average is calculated over 3 years. If only one year's value is known, replicate it in the other years fields.
Selecting one or more improvements, you will get the estimated energy and CO₂ savings, and the impact (in percentage) of the selected improvement on the total savings.
4.1: ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS
Uold = transmittance of the element before the renovation
Unew = transmittance of the element after the renovation
Area = total area of the element affected by the renovation
% Contribution = contribution of the single improvement to the total energy saving
